so my PC crashed and had to boot itself up again, but after it did that loads of programs such as steam, GOG and adobe wouldn't load up and steam kept on popping up that it couldn't load and to reinstall, ok its happened before I go and reinstall it from the website, same issue comes up and the same tab asks me to reinstall it. Basically i go through this a few time and even go through steam and the websites suggestions to the point where I 100% sure I've wiped all traces of steam from my PC, and even now when I get the installer and try to install it its not working at all, I'm at my point now.

Has anyone had similar issues? any way to fix this?
