When i create my behavior account would i use my xbox login?

The Behavior account is mandatory to do the cross-progression, i guess you could also use your Steam account.

You have to sync them too, not only link them.

From my understanding, the least progress won't be synced between platforms but the highest one.

So if you have level 50 on XBox, it will sync 50 to your Steam once linked and sync done.

how do i sync

Find the cross-progression section and enable the feature in your Behavior account.

Confirm the Merge: On the "your games" category of your Behavior Account page, click "merge" under each linked account to complete the process.

That is basically how you sync.

If the Epic version has the most progress of all, you should try getting access to the account again.

Otherwise least progress will be synced.
