Use Steam Mobile App to confirm purchase not working.
Hi, I've been having ongoing issues with the Marketplace.

For a while now, when I buy cards, the first purchase usually goes through without any problems. But if I try to make another purchase shortly after, I get a “Too many requests” error and normally, this resolves itself and I can continue buying after 5 - 10 mins.

However, today I encountered a new issue. When I tried to purchase a card, it asked me to verify and confirm the transaction through the app on my phone — which I did. But after that, nothing happens. No money is taken from my wallet, and no cards appear in my inventory.

When I try again, I just get the “Too many requests” message again and have to wait, but I still don’t receive anything. I looked through the support pages but couldn’t find anything that directly addresses this issue.

Is there anything I can do to resolve this, especially since there doesn't seem to be a way to speak to a real support rep?

Yeah, i've encounrtered the same issue a few days ago, and it's still not working. It doesn't let me buy even a single card

having the same problem. after confirming in the mobile app, it doesn't do anything, even though it disappears from the confirm pending trades in the app.

Until a few days ago I didn't have to confirm buy orders only sell orders and things were fine. Now that I have to confirm buy orders with the mobile app it's not working. Confirming sell orders still works tho.
Same thing happens here, few days ago I didn't have to confirm the orders to buy, only had to do it when selling.
But now I have this idiotic thing added when buying, and now I can't buy anything from market, because when I confirm it in mobile app, it does nothing, other than locking me out of purchasing anything on market because "I didn't confirm recent purchases", even though I did confirm them.

Same thing just happened to me. Extremely frustrating: force stopping apps, restarting apps, logging out then back in, having to check different devices for everything, confirming multiple times.. with nothing happening.

@SteamSupport... Are you going to fix this? You're losing money.

Happening to me, too, and would love a fix... I want to be able to purchase trading cards for badges, but I can't at all.

Still an issue. What's the point of protecting your account if it locks you out of features? Was working a few days ago. Irritating.

Same problem here. “Too many requests” error sometimes appears even after few hours since last try.
This has also happened to me. Man, I hope they fix this soon.

I got a ticket running with Steam Support for this issue, anyone having this issue and sending a message in this thread is greatly appreciated!

That new notification that tells you to confirm on the mobile app needs to stay open until you confirmed on the phone. Don't close it, as this cancels the purchase. You can still confirm afterwards but nothing will happen then.

@CSX, We are not closing the notification bud, we confirm it yet nothing happens. We stay stuck on the notification.
