Game Achievements Didn't Record In Steam

So I decided to post here too as the game forum I think is dead.

Anyway I just finished playing Rise of Insanity, I was online and internet connection. Played the whole game start to finish and after finishing this awesome game, I exited out, and the achievements shows 0/14.

I looked at the achievements and I did them, but for some reason they weren't recorded?
why? I was online and internet connection and you don't need a connection anyway to play this horror game.

Why did the achievements not record in steam?

Because Steam sale... Servers are overloaded so much that having stable net connection and "Online" status doesn't mean much: you see cheevo popup in-game yet it's get recorded on Steam only after closing the game... Aaaand that's the problem in your case: why you haven't received any achievements? You should have got them all but with same timestamp (when you closed the game)... You may want to check that game's forum for others complaining about cheevos not unlocking at all. If that won't help then remove all save files and delete this game aaaaand reinstall and recomplete it again after sale ends.

So the steam sale servers overloaded caused the issue? Did you get the same issue with another game? I found it strange I did all the activities in game and yet 0 achievements.
2 hours of gameplay too. At least my recordings for YT worked. Just the cheevos didnt
what if i played again next week, without reinstall will ti work then

Not the same, but still: got a number of cheevos recorded only after closing the game, so they have timestamps skewed by a few minutes because of that.

If you know which file(s) contain achievement data then removing only them should be enough. Otherwise it's better to delete all local game files (that includes saves), reinstall and replay again after sale ends.
