Here is a fix for Xbox controllers decreasing performance in games.
UBI game installs is corrupting "Microsoft Gameinput".
Uninstall "Microsoft Gameinput" and Xbox controller works perfect again.

Even if you didn't install any UBI game, uninstall "Microsoft Gameinput" to fix the controller problem as it's not needed.

Edit: Xbox 360 controllers don't get this bug.

None of the other fixes last 6 years worked, so i had to figure out the problem myself.

im asking because i dont have this when using a Xbox 360 controller......what controller are you using??? its a new series X controller???

This bug don't affect Xbox 360 controllers. It works perfect either way.
I edited my post above to mention that.

Xbox One / Series X controllers and some random third party controllers can get this problem.
