How long do refunds take?
In the past I've made refund requests via Steam Support and they were processed in as little as a few hours. The longest it's taken me is a day. Right now it's been two days and I've only played ~15 or so minutes of the game, and yet I've received no word back. Is this common? Is there a reason it's taking longer right now? The sale, maybe?

Thanks for any info/advice.

Sales events can be longer.

Also changing/resetting your password recently will delay it 3 days.

Thanks; any idea how much longer it tends to take? Like, should I expect that the sale will be over by the time I get my refund?

You should be fine. I wouldn't expect it to be more than a day from now.
