Did you try troubleshooting or asking the games forum?
Steam support only deal with account and billing issues.

In the steam help it says to click here if your game wont open. So yes they deal with that

There is nothing called Games Forum

Go into "LIBRARY". Click on the Game you cannot open. In library, the page should show "Community HUB". Click on it. That is what he means for the games forum. When you do go to it, click on "discussion". You can then post your question about the game there. Most people refer to it as the Games Forum generically.

It directs you to the developer of the 3rd party game unless it is a Valve game.
