Try discord Rockstar server, because latley Rockstar has so many scewup's, and they are so bad to handle it, untill they fix it, and then login server miraculous working again.

I did other thing go offline then exit client then online again to push reset of login/pw clear so you can test again, instead of auto login and hanging , if rockstart meanehile got the server to work again, thats possible.

ps.
And yes i also got the same errro msg "'There was an error authenticating with Rockstar Games services" or my login and pw is wrong somehow" andhoutrs latler then all was good as nothing was wrong. ( i give 2 cent for server reply here. )

This is why you join discord rockstar so you know you are not the only one with a login issue.

Mine here and now is working again, i can also tell you windows popup a firewall request again.

So they have change something.
