can i repurchase a game after ive refunded it?
ive only been on steam for a year but only used it a few months ago. bought fnaf SL with a gift card, havent even clicked play yet, and i want to refund it to buy half life and maybe bioshock. later on, obviously, i want to repurchase the game and play it. ik im being paranoid, but is it possible??

note i have refunded a game once, deltarune, when the servers crashed yk?

You can repurchase games you have already refunded. However you can only refund games within two weeks and with no more than two hours played. If you repurchase, all previous playtime counts if you want to refund again.

You can re-purchase refunded games. There's lots of reasons you might refund a game.

You buy it, and it immediately goes on sale and you want to purchase it at the sale price. If you're refund eligible that's a valid use case.

You buy a game and maybe your system doesn't run it well, so you refund it. Next year you build a new system and it can run the game well, so you buy it for the new system.

They're refunds, not the Spanish Inquisition. Lots of reasons to refund something and buy it later. Not an issue.

Although, keep in mind play time is cumulative, and refunding and rebuying a game doesn't reset the clock.

There are time limits when it comes to refund, even if you haven't played it you can only refund if you purchased it within 14 days of the refund request.
