Unable to confirm purchases via Steam Mobile
Hello,

I can’t complete purchases on the Steam Market (cards and other items). Steam asks me to confirm the purchase via the mobile app, but when I approve it, nothing happens and the purchase is not completed.

I have already tried the following:

- Checked the confirmations section in the Steam Mobile app.
- Updated the Steam app to the latest version.
- Made sure my phone’s date and time are synchronized automatically.
- Cleared cache / reinstalled the Steam app.
- Tried confirming via the desktop client and browser.
-Waited in case there is a temporary restriction, but the issue persists.

Despite all these steps, the problem remains. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Same here, nothing happens when confirming the purchase in the steam app. Been happening for a few weeks now.
So there is no Solution Right now?

For several days I have been unable to buy anything on the market since we now have to confirm the purchase on the mobile app. Just nothing happens after the confirmation. And at this point I stopped trying, just in case all these attempts still float around somewhere and go through at some point once this is fixed. I don't want to be charged multiple times.
Really annoying how this was not tested before going live.

I was having the same issue. I found that if I used the mobile app to make the purchase it actually went through. My Steam Wallet amount never went down after my first purchase attempt (through the desktop app) so I don't expect to be charged twice.

Since purchasing through the mobile app really just launches your mobile browser and has you log in there, I'm guessing you could probably also just make the purchase in the browser directly and get the same results.

Omg, I just made a purchase successfully. That new notification that tells you to confirm on the mobile app needs to stay open until you confirmed on the phone. Don't close it or nothing will happen!

Hi Valve, I'd like to legitimately buy things on my legitimate account with my legitimate money. That would be great. I dunno, just an idea I guess.

Same thing happening here. After confirming it repeatedly to no avail, I now can't purchase anything because I've 'made too many attempts without confirmation' despite confirming every last one immediately. The store experience here just seems to be getting worse and worse. I've already 2FA'd into my account to begin with, why the hell do I need another one for a $0.05 card in the first place? You're so secure you can't conduct normal operations Valve.

After looking at other comments, I downloaded Steam for my Phone, and I am able to make purchases using the Steam Mobile App, I am unable to make purchases using the Steam Desktop app nor the Steam Web App
