Depends. At one time the elder scrolls gave it's game away for free. It was not malware or dangerous. It was if you bought the original release and all the dlc's, you got the upgraded version for free. Not all games are dangerous that are free, but this year has been bad on steam. I suggest looking into the developer of the game and see their social feeds. If there lacking in information, then yes, that might be a red flag maybe not to play them.

Well I wasnt gifted anything by Steam, they were just made free and I got them. Danger of stealing what I have bought or credit card information stuff like that. Would you keep those games in your library? Steam gifts games to accounts? I did not know that. Cool.
