Any way to hide fap games on the Steam store page?
My daughter who is 9 likes to play a couple of the games I have on occasion and wants a zoo game. It would be nice to allow her to play without having "Hot P***y College" in the new and trending list when the store page loads up.

Try enabling Family View and disable the store. Can tweak the preferences but that won't help with queues and main page.

Yes, don't have Adult Only enabled in the store preferences. Keep in mind that this is disabled by default, so at one point you have enabled it.

Your store > Preferences > Mature Content Preferences. Uncheck all boxes you don't want to see.

Got it... thanks!

Will disabling mature content still keep the games in his account?

Only the store

Disable for the store only effects the store

EDIT: Poor wording

No only the store

I don't own any fap games, but I do have a few hard core M shooters and whatnot that I personally wouldn't want my kids playing. And you are correct, it doesn't hide what is in your library but there is a family view that you can set that can limit what games can be seen.

Yes, you can hide games of certain categories, including adult games, on the Steam store page. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Steam Store page and log in to your Steam account.

2. Hover over the "Store" in the top menu and select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.

3. In the Adult Content section, select Hide Adult Games and Hide Abusive Content.

4. Click the "Save Changes" button.

Now all games belonging to the "adult games" category, including fap games, will be hidden on the Steam store page. Please note that this may not hide all games with sexual or provocative content, but it should significantly reduce their number on the store page.

Hey, I jknow this thread is dead for a year, but since Steam can be rather ibtuse about it's updates, I thought I'll point it out. Now you can make your kid a separate accoubt and add them to a Steam family in the child role, which allows you to curate what games from your library they have access too. It also allows you to play in paralel as long as it's not the same game/you have multiple copies across your accounts in the family. So you can play, e.g. Terraria with your kid, but they would not have access to the game you blacklisted for them.

i have the bottom settings unchecked (frequent & adult only sexual content), and adult only games still show up unfortunately.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
