I have a NVME drive that easily does over 5000 Mbps write speed, but when patching Battlefield 6 or any other game, its moving at 40Mbps write speed.

The patch went from 1.9 gb to a 45 gb patch, and is stuck at 14%. My download speed is gig speed, but i only get 250 on steam.


Downloads years ago used to be flawless, now for the last few years, even with a completely brand new computer and all new components as well as OS, its still happening. 3 separate computers and it keeps happening.

I go to Reddit or the Forums here and its the same way for others.




Why has Valve not addressed this? Im getting sick of waiting 12 hrs for a simple patch.
