Hijacked. Malware or phishing.

Follow steps 1-6 to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

If said items were from CS2:

Thank you for the reply but it dont really matter since all iteams they stole was rust iteams. And those for some reason i wont get back. Steam has made so much money from all my buying and selling on the market over the years. Just the fact that i have proof on the hijacking and they still do nothing makes me feel that they dont care about there players and im done with this platform.
But i guess they dont mind me buying them again from the market so they can profit again..
If they cant protect there players even if the player have proof of hijacking or hacks what is the point?
Steam is making profit of this policy!
In accordance with section 1 C of the Steam Subscriber Agreement, you are fully responsible for all actions on your account, no matter who used the account. This includes actions that occurred as the consequence of fraudulent account access by phishing or malware, be it input relay, session token theft or any other method that granted a third party access to your account.
So that means that you dont mind profiting from users but if something happens you turn your back on us, without us players you would not even have a platform buddy. You guys are hiding behind text like that instead of doing whats right.
I can only hope that in the future there will come another platform that grows big enough to challenge you, one that cares about there customers.
Cuz without us you are nothing
we are common users the same just as you.

Not hard to fake a hijacking, trade items whilst being compensated outside of Steam, and then claim it was hijacked.

The restoration policy was seriously abused in the past hence Valves stance on stopping that practice.

Steam gives you the tools to keep your account secure. Its upto the user to do so. This is no different to handing your house keys along with your address to a random stranger. The stranger entering your home to steal stuff and then you complain that your insurance company and or lock maker won't reimburse you when you are the one that allowed someone else to gain access by.

I just said i have proof of it, why should i share that here, as already stated we are all common users here.
Cs2 is the only game you can buy skins and you are protected. There is no reason for them to not do the same for other games to that have expensive skins like rust. The 7 day rule for cs2 skins workes great. Thats why they didnt take a single cs2 skin from me because they know its no point.
And im not here to argue common users, im just here to state my case since they took away our right to make tickets..
people abused Valve's goodwill to dupe items, hence the change in the item restoration policy.

As for trade reversal, it depends entirely on the game developer to implement this feature into their games. Rust is developed by Facepunch, not Valve.

I know its on the game developer but that still dont change the fact that the 7 day rule is working.
But hopefully now alot more users is learning about this as i have.
If steam cared about there users as they do about making money they would force other developers to implement that rule to there game aswell. Because it protects us users from scammers.
You can act like this will never happen to you until that day it happens.
Scammers find new cleaver ways to trick us.
I dont care if i dont get those skins back, but as a community we should strive to inprove the security of our belongings no?
