How to get a refund if the game servers stop working after 2 hours of playing?
Battlefield 6 worked for 2 hours, then it started to crash (server issues) after 5 mins of playing.
Those errors were reported by thousands of players, but EA not only did no fix it, they do not say anything about it. When contacting support, they say they will fix it someday, but they dont know when. So I paid for a game I can't play because their servers have issues.

If i want a refund, they told me to contact steam, but steam is refusing my refund.
So what should I do? why doesnt steam have a proper customer support I can talk to?

You can do a manual ticket if you want however just be aware all games that rely on online servers to play them have issues at times and this is not a permanent thing for that game and they are working for most it looks like with how many are playing it.

Steam’s refund policy is strict: you can request a refund for any game within 14 days of purchase and less than 2 hours of playtime. Since you played 2+ hours, they usually deny it, even if the servers stopped working. Your options are limited: you can keep contacting EA support and explain the server outage, but Steam won’t override their policy for server issues. Some players have had luck escalating through EA’s customer service or requesting a chargeback through their payment provider if the game is completely unplayable, but that carries risks. Steam doesn’t offer phone support; everything goes through their ticket system, which is why it can feel frustrating. Unfortunately, there’s no guaranteed way to force a refund for server issues after exceeding their limits.

Thanks. The issue with this error is that a few players also had it on the previous BF but it was never fixed. This time more people are playing BF6, but seeing that they never fixed it for the other one...it tells me that they wont fix it now either

Thanks. This is frustrating, I asked EA to contact steam and tell them the issue is on their side so they issue a refund, but they said they can't do that. I will try to call my credit card and try to cancel the purchase there.

I hope that things will be fine for you or everything is good now.
