Refund Review

Does anybody know if they actually review the notes you put in when you ask for a refund? When I tried to refund one of my games I had played for about three hours, it said it would take about 7 days or more to get back an answer. I put in notes to tell Steam the reason and it said it would be reviewed. I got the answer back the same day saying I had played it too long, so I don't get a refund. It was sent automatically, as expected, but being sent on the same day indicates no one actually reviewed it. Does anyone have insight on this?

Notes are info for devs why you've refund their game; automatic refund is always verified by the bot.

You can try manual refund but there is no guarantee that they will agree.
Manual refund:
Help > Purchases > click on game > "i've question about ..." > fill contact form

The Refund Reasons are essentially a feedback section only for the game devs/pubs. They do not factor into the refund when using the automated system.

Refund Reasons

When viewing refunds, you can look at details of what players had to say when they requested a refund. These are initially broken down by category, which you can expand to see specific written notes left by players.

You want a human to see you're refund request you have to go down the manual route, which means picking the I have a question about this game option, rather than refund one.
