Steam Input shows incorrect layout on 8BitDo Ultimate 2 controller.
When the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless (Xbox Layout) is used in D-Input mode, games that support Steam Input (such as ETS2, ATS, or No Man's Sky) display button prompts as though the controller had a Switch Layout. I have tried reconfiguring and resetting the bindings, but nothing seems to resolve the issue.

If it only appears on DirectInput mode, why bother with DirectInput in the first place?

Because it works natively with Steam Input. It allows it to fully use the additional buttons and gyro.
