Installed Steam and then started getting the games downloaded. Steam put a bunch of blank 'shortcuts' the windows says are .url files. I clicked on one and was asked what app do I want to open it with. I chose Steam.exe and they all changed to the Steam icon but still wouldn't play. I can run them fine through the Steam client. I've tried the verify files 'fix' but it didn't help. I made a shortcut by going into the game folder that works but its going to be tedious doing that for every game. They installed fine before. any help?
