Help for Input Lag in Controllers (PC)
Today I experienced some heavy lag while playing Helldivers 2 and Warframe while playing with my Wireless Xbox Controller in Steam, and I decided to make a simple compilation of things you can try so you don't have to go through excruciating internet posts.
  • Toggling "Enable Steam Input for Xbox controllers, under Steam (top left) > Settings > Controller
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling "Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver", under Steam (top left) > Settings > Controller
  • Disabling per-game Steam Input, under Overlay > Controller Icon > Steam Input
  • Uninstalling Bluetooth Xbox Controller driver and reinstalling it again (under Search > Device Manager > Bluetooth > Xbox Wireless Controller
  • Disabling Xbox Game Nav Bar
  • Installing Xbox Accessories from the Microsoft Store

Do you have any other recommendation? Anything that can help with this?
I've also seen recommended buying a Bluetooth 5.0 dongle to solve any Bluetooth-related issues, but I prefer to consider all non-paid solutions

If your mainboard comes with an antenna, plug that antenna in.

If you already did that and the controller is still laggy, the mainboard might lack aptX LL support. In that case, you will need a bluetooth dongle with aptX LL support.

Some bluetooth devices need more power or priority, the issue seems that my computer doesn't have a powerful bluetooth antenna (only the dedicated one), and a plug that amplifies this seems ot be the solution :')
There will always be lag, latency, or slow down when using bluetooth on controllers on pc. This is why if you do not want this issue at all, use wired controllers. Until the technology improves, this will always be a thing. Ive been using a wired nintendo switch controller, and never had any latency or lag on my controller. I do have some issues with disconnection sometimes, but that rarely happens.

I suggest finding a decent wired controller. Just one point of advice. Avoid the F310 logitech one. It does not allow you to play all games on steam. For example, when playing pinball games, it does not work correctly. I used to use them, but failing to win a couple times in pinball tournaments i play with friends made me switch out my wired controllers.
