Help how do I make my layout available in cloud?
I have a controller layout fora game and I want it to be available in cloud, but whenever I press save new layout or update existing it does nothing how do I set it to be available to cloud? and no less importantly how do I make it as a template??? I can do all of this in the old big picture mode on my PC but Im really confused on this new one

If you've already saved it, there's no point in saving it again, innit?

You gotta export/publish it.

I did press export, but I dont get the option to make it available on cloud, nor do I can make it a template

I've just tried it. Exported a layout and on another game, it was there, on the search page. On the very top of the search page, actually.

how??? for me when i export it just ask if i want to save to new layout or update existing, if i press either of them I get no option to make it available on cloud nor make it a template

You don't get asked whether you want to export a template. You have to pick that option yourself.

When you go to export an input configuration, you get a dialog. With very little in terms of options, I might add. One of those is the export scope.

I suggest you take a screenshot of yours, if you want an exact pointer.

ahh, I forgot to mention, when I create a new one I can indeed export or make it a template, but this one existing layout cant be shared or made template for some reason,
how do I take a screenshot of it that steam wont remove by the way?

When I tried it, I went with a control sceme I have created several days prior, meaning an existing one so I don't quite get what stops you.

Steam doesn't remove screenshots, not by itself.

by the way no matter I press update layout nor save new layout, it doesnt have a pop up to make it a template nor cloud, it just disappear so Im kinda frustated here as I fear the layout wont appear on different device

Hmm, it gets indeed appear in the community layouts, but I still cant figure out how to make it a template
