But when I switched to Linux. I could not get it to connect using the USB Dongle or using the cable directly to the USB. It won't connect and keeps turning off.
I was able to get it to connect via bluetooth but The "A" button wouldn't work in the game, so I disabled the "Steam input" in the game > properties > controller options.
But after doing that the lag was so bad the controller is useless.
Example i had to read about token ring then i was doing education, but fact is it was under decomission as a network Solutions, point is noone will read about it if they can avoid it today.
ps.
I could also say how come you use it as network transferm then security about it is the issue.
You do not want your bluetooth signal on other device that tap into your system, and as i understand it it can't be prevented.
If other know better then say so, becuase make sense why it will not be working or being allowed to use if this is the issue. ( i will not read or look deeper into a subject thats not being used by me or other. ( bluetooth on pc get disable because of this. even MS mention something about it years ago, in my OS. ( and being terminated its protocol ) and no i do not remember what they said so many years ago.
Hope it can help others, why that technologic as fare as i know is not being used anymore in network communication.
Thern you go past own Network ID , you are already in trouble, if other know how to tap into it.or use the info you broadcast out to unknown device. not part of your network.
if i am right in this, get out of bluetooth asap. ( not because i said so but because of your own security about it. ) let us see if you are lucky and there is a tech aka guru from the past that know more in detail on the subject.
Learn to read Bluetooth mode and what MS did so many years ago, you are the useless one here.
Blluetooth network at pc was terminated by Microsoft, as fare as i know, you did not counter or proof they did not, so i bet people will say fix your own issue, no one will fix what MS stopped. and i doubt they can turn it on again in windows service, as fare as i know they will not change Bluetooth security and the protocoll that handle it with its security issue, so yeah pretty much dead, why i remember such i do not know, never use it and never will.
And you skill with pro and cons with bluetooth how they work just nailed you coffin here.

And they shut it down because of privat network was not privat, other bluetooth device are not ment to be allowed on other network, and the protocoll as i recall it was never build for this.
so YES security was a iaaue. ( this is in win7 era as i remember it, and i dont think anything has change. ) thats a decad ago, most might forgot all about it.
