You could call them and tell them to get off the game.
We are talking about the new Steam Family BETA and no, owner no longer has precedence in the new family system. Every adult in the family has the same rights for every game in the sharing pool.
@OP Thats why the new system is meant for close family members in the SAME household and not "friends" who live somewhere else.
In the intended scenario you can just go over to your family member in the same house and tell them you want to play your game now.
i mean i have family member that live elsewhere before if the owner entered the game and other family memeber was on it it will give him 5 min countdown and then kick him out of the game that system was good idk why they changed it
Because Steam Families is for families in the same household. You should be able to walk to the other room in the household to tell them to get off.
