But whatever the answer to that question may be, no you're not the only one; has been reported a few times over the last week or so. If not mistaken the interface was adjusted at that time to only allow creation of an API-key when the mobile authenticator is active on the account, and with your seemingly very useful debugging information, appears someone may have misplaced or forgotten a bracket somewhere while doing so.

Not sure what the best way would be to be sure that someone from Steam sees this...

I already opened a ticket, but it was closed because "Steam support does not provide assistance with the Steam Web API"

I do not know what that "developer console" you're showing is a console of but if the reported syntax error is not your-sides guess you'll need to hope for this to be noticed here. I don't believe there's a better (public) way of contacting Steam development.

It has in any case as said been reported that API-key creation is failing for some, which I assume the same thing as what you are reporting here, but come to think of it I also don't in fact know that so I'll otherwise shut up.

the developer console in the screenshot is the google chrome console as you can clearly see there is a problem with Steam's js, I hope someone from Steam/Valve will see this problem as soon as possible as I have not been able to develop my server for several days due to this problem

I have the same issue, ilterally, same thing in my console as the screenshot, I really hope they fix that

What ? are you sure, because there is nothing showing on my steam guard that i can accept for it to be created

Yup, I could only make an APIkey when I approved it with Steamguard.

This still isn't fixed, even after confirming it on the auth I get sent back to the page with no API key created...

The auth just doesn't send for the api creation. I get it for logins, but the api key seems broken. I need it for Vortex, and it was working, but the api I originally created stopped working. I revoked and tried to make another, and here we are.

Anyone solved this problem. I am at the same situation. Very annoying

I fixed it by creating a new API key with the mobile phone that has my steam auth on it. In my case its an iPhone, so I went into the safari browser and logged in there and it worked.

[SOLVED} Had the same issue: Green button "Register" doesn't respond.
