Problems starting games and XBOX-Controllers aren't recognized
Hello,
I have multiple problems with my steam games and I hope someone can help me.

Firstly some of my games won't start . I already deleted the games, redownloaded them and verified the game files via steam but this hasen't helped me.
The games I have this issue with are:
  • Antichamber (UDK.exe stopped working)
  • Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition (something with Microsoft.NET Framework)
  • Farcry 3
  • Metro 2033 (PhysXLoader.dll missing)
  • Remember Me (problem with PhysX)
  • Watch_Dogs
  • The Witcher: Enhanced Edition ("Warning Minimum System Requirements Not Met")
I suspect that these issues are somehow connected to PhysX and/or DirectX because I can trigger a similar crash when I activate DirectX12 in "Rise Of The Tomb Raider". But I've checked my drivers in the GeForce Experience and everything seeems to be updated.

For Example this is the error message I recieve when I try to start "Remember Me":

I hope someone can help me with this issue because not being able to start these games really bugs me.

The second issue I am experiencing is not as gamebreaking as the first one but nevertheless frustrating:
Some games with controller support don't seem to recognize my controllers while others do so they can't be broken.
Games with this problem:
  • Alice Madness Returns
  • Batman: Arkham City GOTY Edition
  • Batman: Arkham Origins
  • Batman: Arkham Knight
  • Bioshock Infinite
  • Brothers A Tale Of To Sons
  • Enslaved Odyssey To The West Premium Edition
  • Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Mod
  • Mirrors Edge
  • Portal
  • Puddle
  • Rayman Origins
  • Spec Ops The Line
In some of these games - like "Just Cause" or "Spec Ops" - I don't need the gamepad but in games like "Batman", "Brothers", . . . a gamepad is really important to enjoy the experience.
What's strange is that the Controllers are working in other games, even in direct sequels like "Portal 2" or "Rayman Legends". And I haven't found a fix for this issue.

If this could be due to system incompatibility issues here are my basic system specifications:
  • CPU: Intel i7 6700k
  • GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti G1 Gaming
  • RAM: 16 GB DDR4
  • OS: Windows 10 Home 64bit
  • Mouse: Roccat Tyon (I've read that the X-Celerator could possibly cause problems concerning the controller)
  • Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB
  • Gamepad 1: XBOX ONE Controller for Windows
  • Gamepad 2: XBOX 360 Controller for Windows

I hope somebody can help me or can give me tips on wheather I should contact steam about this and how to do this best.
