Download speed suddenly capped?
I have checked my internet speed, it's the same. I have restarted my router, it's the same. I have connected a different device, it is the same.

But for some reason, I went from 50mb/s download, it 15. I am unsure why, but suddenly steam had decided to cap my download speed on my main PC. It happened overnight, no settings on steam have been changed, but for some reason it is now slower, but my internet speed has not changed at all.

Has anyone else had this? I connected a laptop to my internet and it worked perfect with 50mb/s download, but this PC still won't reach over 15mb/s, however just a week ago it was at 50, what is happening?

Change your download region to something as close to your actual region and it might fix it.

This was the issue I had. I was originally set to Sydney Australia and changed it to Melbourne Australia (virtually identical speeds) and it fixed my issue
