Were you trying to stop Big Picture mode from opening when you press the Guide button on a controller?

I accidentally open it all the time because I push the PS button in my PS4 controller, its pretty anoying and I cant stop it from opening since its like malware (can't alt+f4, cant esc)

If you don't use Steam's Guide button commands, Big Picture mode nor access Steam overlay via your controller, you can bind the controller inputs but skip the Guide button binding:
Steam > Settings > Controller > Test Device Inputs [Begin Test] > Setup Device Inputs


Or you could set the Always-On action of the Guide button chord layout to 'Cleared from Parent', then commands that are just Guide won't work (open Big Picture mode, open Menu while within BPM, open the Steam Overlay - think that's all). They can be set to another combination if wanting to use them.

This doesn't work for me? Step 1-3 okay, but I don't get this new option "Add Always-On command" ... ? Fck this big picture mode man why the ♥♥♥♥ valve has to destroy steam with this ♥♥♥♥? -.-
Steam was always running, now I even consider deinstalling if I dont have any games to play right now
