Steam screeshots look pixalted and awful, screenshots made with print screen are not

the title,

its important that i can use the screenshot function, but the image quality is awful!
Pixalated or lower bit depth?

I dont know but when using print and savig it via Paint looks way better.
How can that be if i ticked the option for "uncompressed" screenshots!?

the uncompressed screenshots are saved in chosen directory, they are for your personal usage, they are not used to be uploaded to Steam.

Are you looking at it in the little preview window? If so that's just a thumbnail view and doesn't represent the actual detailed screenshot.

hey thanks for the soloution, i asked on multiple platforms and already found out that i need to set a custom folder.

Apparantly i did 2021 xD because thats the first screenshot date, so ive 100% forgot about it xD

i take the L xD
