Steam API web integration. Check if MemberOfGroup
Is it possible to have a person log in to a website using the steam api and then display custom content depending on if that user is a member of a specific group?

well how you would retrieve the content is something you have to figure out yourself but it is definetely possible.

using the xml will get you a list of groupids a user is a member of:

EDIT: while writing this when i did a google search for retrieving the discussion topics this actually showed up and it shows an great example of what you might trying to achieve.

Thanks for that article! Didn't find much when googling myself. It's too late in the night to get back into coding, but I'll see if my rusty php skills might have a mission to solve tomorrow!

With all the clans and squads on steam, I just assumed such a script was allready avaliable.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
