Do I need to purchase the Omori Soundtrack separately to be able to hear it during the game ?

Nope, you don't need to.

You buy the soundtrack for the same reason why you would buy a music album: To support the artist and listen to the individual tracks whenever you want.

It's the other way around, you buy the soundtrack so you can listen to the music whenever you're not playing the game.

The shoundtrack just allows you to listen to it without playing the game like spotify or other music apps, the onl main reason i would buy it is to support the dev or to listen while offline
