Unable to post (Sorry, some kind of error has occurred...)

Tried to comment on a review: Steam message: "Sorry, some kind of error has occurred: There was a problem posting your comment. Please try again."

Other posts have been made about this issue. Trolls post random crap and eventually a Steam moderator closes the dicussion. Its not a network issue. Its from the Steam app itself, not web browser.

I would like to hear from a Steam moderator on this. Please hold your comments and wait for a Steam rep to reply so we can figure out what this really is.

is there a ban on the account or something?

Have you tried contacting steam support?

Already cleared the cache/restarted steam/reinstalled?

If your trying to comment on a steam workshop item from the american truck simulator game you may be banned from commenting there if you were banned when commenting in a american truck simulator forums site there not run by the same people but are in some way connected I was permanently banned on a forums site for asking the same question over and over because nobody would answer me only after that was I not able to comment on the steam workshop items for american truck simulator

If you are banned in the game hub, the entire hub is off limits. This includes the games workshop pages.
