But the update is the same size 20.8gb and steam delete everything on f1 2017 and download everything again, again, again... :/
Or it is your hard drive packing up.
You can check this by downloading something like Crystal Disk Mark (or whatever it's called these days) and let it intensively check your disk. It may take a couple of hours, but let it run. It will tell you if there's issues.
And if it does report there's some dodgy sectors or something, get any important data off there ASAP.
And some games has been caught in qurrantine folder anti virus app before, then you will never could dl them unless you make exception rules or clear them as okay.
And do not be a win7/8 past OS user steam do not support DL to old OS after compression has been update for 1gbit lines and with win10+
win7 & 8 dont have MS support anymore.
Why dont you validate game intergroty of files content, it will do that though steam DL and check content is right, it will only start to DL with things not match current game devs files.
im sorry we miss that statement, then it look like DL froma server was the issue.
thats the porlbemwiht steam use DL script then validating and DL is actual 2 diffrent things.
Any experience can tell you this DL and file compare check is not same thing even then it satrt to DL them then lets say games devs has update its content. also why you recive a update patch, but somehow you have old files in DL Sections, but get stuck with it,
and we are back at antivirus apop blocking issue, maybe or as CF point out not enough free storage space. 2-3 time more storage sapce is needed.

How come you cant see the issue and why have you not report it as necro post as you should.
Steam is not going to play police here, and all can wake all post's as they see fit, steam has a issue and we all know it.
Steam own problem to deal with post, that someday even OP is dead and gone, this is seen before. we are not the problem here steam is, in have old post that can be necro as steam user see fit.
and yes we know its not a ticket but have you seen some game devs forum with user and no reply from gamed devs or other user over several years as top post, should they not be locked no forum user want to reply on any poat that is old. ( whatever that is ) month even start to feel like old for many of us.
