[SOLVED] Cannot create guide

Hello!

I have the strange problem that I cannot post a guide. Whenever I fill out the form according to plan (title, thumbnail, short description, category and language, ticking checkbox that I created it) and then click the confirmation button, it takes a few seconds, then takes me to an error message saying:
"Sorry!
An error was encountered while processing your request:
That item does not exist. It may have been removed by the author."

Does anyone know what I can do?

EDIT: Apparently it had to do with the image I supplied somehow. I had put a square jpg image into there and when I saved it as .png then it suddenly worked.

I was unable earlier as well. Is this your first time doing a guide?

Yes that would have been my first guide.

Try doing it on the client. If that is what failed, try doing it via the web app and see if the same thing happens. Do enough to be able to hit save and continue.

I really think there is an issue right now though as mine didn't go through either, it just froze then failed.

Thats the first thing I tried and it had the exact same result. I tried it first on the client and then the website.

I'm getting a similar problem, but the proposed solution isn't working.
I've made a steam guide before, this guide I am trying to make is my second one for a different game.
No matter what image I pick, or what medium I use to create the guide, steam just keeps giving me an error message saying
" An error was encountered while processing your request:
There was a problem trying to save the title and description. Access was denied."

An error about title and description sounds like some illegal characters were used maybe?
Check if you have used any rare symbols and try to post it again without them.

I didn't use any symbols.
All I would say in the title is "guide", just so I could get the guide loaded, and I was still getting error messages.

the reason why it don't work is cuz steam is drunk sometimes

This happened to me recently, I just changed the resolution of the image to match their format.

Hi! I'm here now.
Image: square
Format: PNG
I am given Error Code -400 and told to reload within the quarter-second that the screen displays the error, while it reloads itself and gets the same error five times per-second.

Sorry for Necro, however I feel I can add an important detail to that problem

I can confirm a wrong size will result in this Error.

JPG-format & 1920x1080 --> results in Error
resizing it to ~1300x800 solved the problem for me
