Im kidding. They should have the date format match the the country. I personally find D/M/Y to be super confusing.

I see my Wishlist in DD/MM/YYYY format despite of my client being in English. I have no idea what setting affects it or if it's based on your location.

I got Windows and Steam set to Brazil as region, it's where I live.

In the end nobody has a clue what setting affects the format, not even Steam itself otherwise they would have posted an official solution. Very annoying.
