And if you want to say you don't need the feature because you don't get highjacked, well that feature is there because of users who think they won't and then do end up highjacked.

You assume. But lots of circumstances where transactions don't happen instantaneously. Oversimplifying things, or ignorance for the reasons behind certain processes, or arbitrarily treating everything the same for your convenience may not be the well reasoned argument you think it is.
