Purchase issues
Guys wth

i ve been around steam for more than a decade, was just about to buy a game and i literally cannot. Entering the security code is impossible because the UI does not let me input the numbers. Instead of simply inputing my 3 numbers it keeps on redirecting me to some random menu on the top left to choose between Visa, Paypal, etc. which does not work.

As in, i legit cannot buy anything right now. the ♥♥♥♥ are you doing?

Chances are the system is down. If you give it time, it should be working again. In my experience, anytime something didn't work, within the day, it'll be fixed unless it happens past 5PM (Eastern Time). I assume that's when they close shop for the day. Steam is by far the best site for customer service. Yeah, it's not voice to voice or face to face but it gets the job done and it's very reliable. Maybe you just typed something in wrong?

Welp, bottom line being i got what i wanted within about 10 minutes but it 100% bugged out.

The text box for the security code is just a regular text box. Are you using some kind of weird browser extension that's modifying the page?

Edit: perhaps the numpad with numlock turned off?
