There's exclusive subreddits if you get enough upvotes...and I've gotten there before.
But I'm not sure I'd want to hang around those people in hindsight.
All in all, steam points are better.

Imagine putting all sorts of strange meanings on just being a user of a forum.
How strange. The reddit forums I've looked at have just been informative & useful. Guess I didn't look at the "right" ones.
When they're reddit big, the connotations have to be very broad.
For something smaller, like...well I dont' even know if I can say the name but "___front" I can imagine quite a few things about a user of those forums.
I bet they're smaller and more specific, those are the more useful ones at least in my experience. Like r/datahoarding .
