Another update with no info on steam client ?

What did you do ? I see no notes anywhere yet you updated something ?? You should explaine each update you are making to my program..

Last update for the released client was November 17th. There has been no new update since.

The Beta Client received an update the other day. May want to check if you are using the Beta Client.

Nope but got a semi small update to client today and I am on mostly every day to check in on things.

Are you sure it was not for a game or mods from the workshop?

I have not seen any update.

The only thing today, That I have seen, is an update to spell checker in beta, and the steam marketplace has been changed with a few things.

See that is why I am asking, Steam updated before it would open client, I just want to know what was in that update, was security reasons ? if so cool.. Just want to be kept in the loop.

I play 1 game with mods and no that was yesterday for updates that included that game, so maybe it's that game not saying.. Just odd is all.

BTW I had steam open erlier in the day then shut it down for a while, went shopping, came back and fired up Steam but was inturupted by the semi small update.

Could be just the game mods like you say, wish I knew, some sort of we did this for this or something from someone lol..

The client triggered yesterday's beta update after you relaunched it.

Last beta patch is the 4th. How long you keep the system active without a shutting down/rebooting or closing the app may also affect what version you have and which shows as available/installing.

Wouldn't recommend constant bumps without any replies. Anyway;
-Help > About Steam, look at the version/date.
-Might have been scheduled and you missed that.
-Did the game or mods update? That could do it.
-That'll do it, anything pending once you relaunch or restart likes to install.
-You can check the workshop for the game and look at your subscribed items. If it hasn't changed, there may be some workshop stuff shown as complete at the very bottom of your Downloads page.
