does steam have a block limit?
setting aside the obvious logical solution to "skill issue" or "get gud" troll posts (permabans), does the platform have a block limit

i am assuming if that is the best a forum user can come up with, i dont need to see anything they have to say at all

I put over 300 during the Left4Dead inVasian. I have cleared them since then.
So 256 is out.
Perhaps 512?
Anyway, plan your friends and groups so you need only block the minimum amount of accounts.

Given that the limit on blocklists is so vast(or not actually limited) why then are the limits on steam friending and account follows so dismally small?
Valve, lets up those numbers!

Unless they've changed it it's because you have to increase your Steam level to add more friends which means more money for Valve. Making people pay to block more people is apparently beyond even Valve's appetite for making money.
