The price was announced when they announced the steam deck. For the new batch of hardware i'd imagine tariff's are adding a bit of uncertainty to the price and making it difficult. Its difficult for companies to plan long term costs when the tariff market is fluctuating so much effecting the supply line.

Really no way to know when Valve will announce the price of the current devices.

They most likely will announce the "final" price at the time pre-orders get opened.
