but of course allowing for users to block awards is something too hard for Steam to implement it seems

The 100 free points looked at him inappropriately.
Lol, I like my profile pristine with stuff I LIKE TO SHARE and I put up myself.
I was recently sharing my profile with a friend (whos not a steam-gamer) and they asked what it meant, and I was like, o... Fack.
Its kinda low-key embarassing once I explained the meaning.
I mean, sure its a subjective matter.
I recall seeing it in 2021 and I was like... Oh cool, and at first it was funny. I never cared for my public profile until I began seeing weird comments from spammers etc.
Fast-forward, I'm occasionally dressing my profile to my preference and 100 percent-ing games I take seriously I'm like... Actually, its annoying and a reminder that randoms can TAG someone's profile with nonsense which is in general should be disabled by default IMO.
I don't recall trolling ever actually.
Every post I post, like this topic is intentional. Perhaps a pun or 2 sometimes.
Yes, well, this award was 'gifted' to me circa 2021... Not to mention, I have well over 200,000 points, lol.
I can't imagine anyone wanting something like this. All you get are images of garish, dancing cartoon splotches and blobs all over your website that mean nothing. It adds a few lines of text that repeat over and over again. It's just noise. It gets old fast having to read the same meme-text over and over again, and seeing the same images repeatedly spammed in all sections of the site is just a waste. People complain about it all the time as well. It's better to just not participate.
It's a customer loyalty program, I suppose. But I consider it spam.
