I never had that done (UK). If i order something i always make sure im in for delivery.

the steam deck is okay, but there are a lot more powerful handheld PCs out there now. be sure you're okay with the performance. it's a decent value for what it is, but temper your expectations for what it can and can't do.

I seem to remember that my Steam deck came quite quickly from steam.
(If that's what you choose).
On the subject of porch pirates, if you download the app for whatever courier is used, many of them have GPS/map tracking now, so you can actually see where the courier is when delivery time is near. It certainly helps in making sure you're there waiting when they deliver, and the unit doesn't sit on your doorstep for all to see.

ive saved up enough for when amiga 1200 maxi comes out in June too. Ive got all Amiga mini setup with keyboard and mouse too but there just too many wirers so with the working keyboard there be kess wirers and i give tis mini to my brother.

Thanks will be getting the steam deck oled 1TB and dock in January hopefully there be sales by then for it to be a bit cheaper. I cant see any reason to spend 200£ more on newer machines especially when desk top PC will be my main go to. I just want something for summer so i can sit out side with head phones for a couple of hours.

I would never plan on running flight sim game on a hand held any way hehe.

You just missed a sale for the cheaper models, I have not ever seen a sale for the mid priced ones yet. Performance wise you can get better handhelds, but most have windows, as a result you only get a slight performance increase.

Really the only thing to worry about is will it run the games you want to play, and are the games you want to play affected by the anti-cheat software that will prevent certain games from being played.

I only play single player games and going to look more towards point and click adventures etc. Not too hard on the eyes with screen like that. first thing i do is turn MP off any way in any game that has it. Ive never been able to play FPS on a handled any way with the sticks as it even worse then controller.
