SAM uses the exact same method to trigger achievements that the games themselves do.

The only way to tell someone cheated their achievements is if they got all of them or got many that take a lot of time all at once and really early into their playtime of the game.

And in the end? No one really cares.
Achievements have no value, so no one is going to care after a few minutes.
