Is Steam working on getting Steam games to work also on Android devices?
I own a Retroid Pocket Classic which is primarily a emulation handheld that I use to play old games on it usually, I also want to get another device called a AYN Thor and both are Android devices. I think I heard somewhere that Steam is trying to get steam games to work on Android devices? It would be really cool to play Steam games on a smaller device than the Steam deck which is too large to be a handheld tbh. I know that Gamehub and Gamenative exists, the problem with those is that I think one of those apps that lets you play steam games on android does not let you get steam achievements and the other is apparently owned by the Chinese and is kind of shady, some people claim the Chinese one can possibly steal your account information.

No Valve has not made any kind of announcement on the subject. Even if they did it would be no different then what Gamehub and Gamenative which is trying to emulate x64/x86.

I don't really see Valve ever doing this tbh.

Steam doesn’t officially run full games on Android yet, but you can use Steam Link to stream games from your PC to your device, keeping achievements and all Steam features. Third-party apps exist, but they may have limitations or security risks, so Steam Link is currently the safest option.

Yea I know about Steam link the problem however with it is that it is "streaming". The technology from what I understand isn't really there yet to play games streaming to your device from long distances away from its source without it being laggy. I tried streaming games with Steam friends before via steam remote play and it's honestly kind of a terrible experience usually. I can stream games if my handheld is close to my pc, but I doubt it could stream games if I tried using Steam link far away from my computer.
