Character Creations FPS Singleplayer games
Why do some developers put character creations in fps single player games like The Outer Worlds 1 & 2?It makes no sense cause you don't see the character or nobody else can,I can see doing it in multiplayer games but not in single player.

Because that's a part of making it "your" character, not just Generic Whoever Dude?

Not sure about Outer Worlds, but plenty of games like that, you can see your character in the inventory or equipment menus, at the very least.

(and given how many clothing/armor/hair/appearance/etc mods are made for single player RPGs, it seems that there are plenty of people out there who don't care that no-one else can see their character.)

edit: and some first-person/SP RPGs will end up having cutscenes where you do see the character. Or "photo modes" in modern games.

Outer Worlds 2 has a third person view, by the way.
Oh I didn't know it has a third person view, how do I play that?

Apparently, you press "U". Look in game for controller. Should be listed as "Perspective".
