Taxes on violent videogames in Mexico
Hi, i dont know where to post this and if anyone would care but in recently a tax on violent videogames has been approved and i would like to know whats Steam´s stance on this and if there is a possibility that they could ignore this. Seems like a lot to ask for but i dont want to pay a lot more than i expected for GTA 6. In Mexico we got videogames taxes before GTA 6. FML, OMG, SMH. Thank you

I would not think Mr Newell can break your countries laws.

You will pay the tax :steamfacepalm:

I'm always fascinated by the bravado and unearned confidence. Seems more likely you'll just put your consumer skills into practice and buy games on sale and get used to paying a bit extra for them.

Kind of like taxing smokes and alcohol.

I guess just as with the above, taxes are unpopular but still more popular than prohibition.

So they went with that, but no my idea of a tax on gold watches with round faces.
