PayPal's payment processor was the one that said no, not Valve/Steam.
So in the meantime you will need to use a different payment method
Just exclude the currencies having problems with adult content. Sure CHF is not a problem.
This is nothing else then censorship by payment methods. Steam is big enough to make up a public discussion about this.
It wasn't Valve's decision to make.
There are some in this very sub-forum. They started months ago.
Many in the tech community wrote articles about it, it was discussed ad nauseam across social networks, YTubers thirsty for ad revenue posted videos about how Steam/Valve caved, these very forums talked about it non-stop until the UK enforced their online safety act which brought about credit card age verification, so the topic changed to that for a bit.
Where have you been?
They did. If PayPal is not available in your region, you currency is one of the ones for which the problem applies.
Because the payment processors specifically targeted Steam.
That's why.
Steam is not a game. It is a store front. I believe no US "games" have a trouble with what you're talking about.
Again, this wasn't Valve's decision.
