Difference is you play a free weekend game which requires a payed licence but you can review it freely, yet lets say a brother BOUGHT a game/license but his sister cant review it on her account while both can do it for a $60 free weekend game they both didnt pay for and played like 20 mins. Ok you converted me, makes total sense.
Don't expect them to allow it now.
That just screams " will be abused to push/downvote" games.
No thank you. The user who bought the game and has the original license attached to their account should be the only one whose review is counted.
I am not opposed if Valve would make it so that Steam Family members can review a game but their review will be marked to show that AND their review wont count for the overall rating average.
That would be ok. Everything else, nope.
Free weekends specifically don't require a paid license. It's even in the name, "free".
