Events such as the Halloween sale should have larger discounts. The discounts they offer are, in most cases, the same as in the regular weekly sales. Larger discounts would encourage purchases. Very lazy indeed!

At least the art is not awful this time, and there's something good on sale in my wishlist.

Maybe they should pay them more, it's like any other worker out there right now, s are obsessed with cheap labor, thing is they sacrifice hard work and experience for profits...you see this all over the store now with all the cheap porn and asset flips.

Yeah, I remember when we used to get events. WIthout fail, there was always one contingent of users screaming bloody murder about them in the forums, and another using exploits and other shenanigans to break them. So yeah, I'm not surprised Valve doesn't do them anymore, if that's the kind of thanks they get.

Or maybe they just wanted to more by taking away anything free

I miss the team events, Steam was the only platform creating meta games like that at the time
They just completely gave up and lost their spark over the years. Each sale having less and less effort put into the themeing and community.
Who is the Valve Sales Community Manager? Do better!

They can barely keep the client afloat nowaday... And you expect them to code events on top of it all?

Don't frame it as laziness. Frame it as what it is. Capitalism optimising the fun out of something for a few extra bucks.
