Trying to download old server files + add Sub id 17906 (Anonymous Dedicated Server Comp) to my account
I am trying to add the sub id 17906 (Anonymous Dedicated Server Comp) which contains all of the dedicated servers that can be accessed in steamcmd with the anonymous account.

The reason for doing this is to get the rust legacy dedicated server (appid 258550 depot 258551 manifest 3861806673622469917 beta legacy) from a legitimate source. I do not care about old security vulnerabilities in the server.

I managed to get the corresponding client for rust legacy by using DepotDownloader as such:
DepotDownloader -app 252490 -depot 252495 -manifest 2515680707818853183 -beta legacy -qr

Doing the same with DepotDownloader (this time with anonymous account as I do not have the dedicated server on my account) I get:
No manifest request code was returned for depot 258551 from app 258550, manifest 3861806673622469917
Suggestion: Try logging in with -username as old manifests may not be available for anonymous accounts.

Please help me get the server files through steam or, if it can be verified through the manifest, the server from somewhere online.

If you need help with a third party app, you should be asking that third party to help you.

Sadly, I only used a third party app because steam console did not have all needed parameters for downgrading the version (only works if the branch is the public one).

It was more of a question of how I can get the server files (and verify their legitimacy)
OR
How i can add sub id 17906 to my own account because then the tool would work (in theory).

Any of these would be a valid solution to my problem.

I would be more than happy to make an issue on their github as long as it is a problem with their implementation and not with Steam itself. That is why I asked on the Steam Discussions forum first...
