so i was looking at evolve stage 2 and legacy beta (niche, i know) to play with a friend with a p2p mod as the game is good but was taken out back and shot to death.

when i opt into the beta, for some reason steam assumes the game is fully installed and I get a fun little error message saying the executable is missing when I launch because, you know, the game isn't installed.

My friend said he just installed legacy straight out the gate, so idk why it's doing this for me but not him. Guess i'll install and opt into legacy after
